This piece is an exact replica of the balcony of the library, La Biblioteca Ricardo Güiraldes, where my husband, Rainier Pereira, and I were married on February 14, 2019.

 

Rainier is an architect; creating the model design was his work. After sending it to be laser cut in wood, I glued and painted the pieces, and then added the collage elements: Large flower blossoms made gauzy with a plastic overlay, and us from the photograph.
