One purpose/power of art is to show us ourselves; to give form to our insides and let them look back at us from the outside.

One friend remarked on this piece, “I see that he can’t look directly into his heart, but he is facing it. Even the feet, he’s walking towards it, but pulling back...”

I hadn't seen that until he said it.
