Windows to the Oneness

A Virtual Exhibition
May 26 - June 04, 2020

Concept

ONENESS is the passion of the mystics. It is what Eckhart Tolle calls the “alive stillness in the background” — the background beyond not only the physical world but beyond, also, the thoughts, feelings and reactions of our non-physical realities.

Oneness is what we find we when look past division and separateness.

This exhibition uses collage to illustrate this idea.

If "The eyes are the windows to the soul,” Windows to the Oneness invites you to look inside diverse combinations of our human windows and discover the Oneness within.

Use these visual forms to look beyond the form and function of the foreground; see that beyond appearances, we are all One.

Elements

Extensive research added quotes on the theme of oneness to accompany each image in this series. (Read the quote collection here, where you can also print and assemble your own physical quote book.)

Half of this collage series juxtaposes two eyes together to create the illusion of a singular gaze.

Half of the series uses the above technique set over human faces.

This artwork began as cut-and-paste analog collage, and evolved to incorporate digital images.
